Short description of Grizzly Lodge.
Grizzly Lodge was built during the fall of 2010 and is constructed out of timber for a beautiful and genuin feel. There are in total four bedrooms including the loft-floor, and ten people sleep comfortably. There are two bathrooms and a sauna. The lounge area has plenty of comfortable seating and a fire place, in addition to stunning views. The house offers ski-in/ski-out conditions in the ski-area of Björnrike in Vemdalen.
Björnrike is located 480 km from Stockholm and is one out of three skiing areas within close distance from each other, all of them are accessible on the same ski-pass. The other areas are Vemdalsskalet, about 20 minutes away by car, and Klövsjö/Storhogna another 10 minutes further away.There is also a ski-bus to the other areas if one prefers to leave the car at home. This means that round about 30 lifts and 50 slopes are available within 30 minutes, providing for great versatility and excellent skiing conditions. Vemdalen area is also one of the areas in Sweden that have the best snow conditions and there is seldom any problems with too little snow. In Björnrike, the winter of 2010/2011 will offer a brand new Express-lift and an extremely efficient snow generating system to ensure perfect skiing all winter.
